Each entrant may submit two recipes from the following categories:  pies, other desserts, jams, jellies and sauces.  Deadline for recipe entry is Wednesday, June 15th at noon.  Fifteen finalists will be selected and notified by Thursday, June 16th.  Finalists will prepare their entry at home and bring it to Community Village on Tuesday, June 21st, at 11:30 a.m. for the judging competition. Contest winners will be chosen based on plating and appearance, creative use of ingredients, and strawberry flavor.  A combination of celebrity judges and cooking experts will select the winners. Prizes include a $100 gift card from Jack's Market, a gift basket from Starbucks, a gift basket from Harry & David, and a private tea party from Patisserie valued at $150.  All contest finalists will receive one free ticket to the Strawberry Festival. 

Entrant agreement (must be signed):

I acknowledge that if selected as a finalist, I will attend the contest judging on Tuesday, June 21st, at 11:30 a.m.  I also acknowledge that I am responsible for all the ingredients used in making my food entry.
